Vulcan lighter 1st Special Forces company B airborne. Other side showing the Airborne insignia and the text "Okinawa and Points South". Okinawa was during the Vietnam war the place were they were stationed and from there operated in South Vietnam. Vulcan lighters were made in Japan. rare piece.
Carton with Division and Brigade pins. Shown on the carton is a geographic map of Vietnam and all the US Divisions and Brigades which were active in Vietnam. Awesome piece. Missing two pins (101 Airborne and 3rd Marine Amphibious Force). 22 pins are present.
Wooden box with Special forces insignia's in it and on it. The SF insignia on the right side of the box is missing it's center piece. With two Vietnam era Airborne insignia and the two beret flashes worn by the 5th Group. 5th Group was mostly active in Vietnam during the Vietnam war. Looks like the box was made by a fromer member of 5th Group and used it to pput his tobacco and lighter in it.
Penguins lighter. USS Estes AGC-12 flag ship. Amphibious Group 3. Was active during the Korea war and during the Vietnam war where this ship recived Meritious Unit Commendation in January '67 for operations done over there. On October '69 the ship was decommissioned for the last time.
Patent No. 19531 on bottom wich makes this a 1950's lighter.
